The Learning Assistance Center (LAC) is located in the Goodpaster Building on College Drive Campus, room G101. Our center provides one-on-one academic assistance to all students. We have 47 computers available for student use. Community members are welcome and encouraged to utilize our facility.
Our center provides the latest software for courses available to ACTC students. We also provide software to assist you with your reading, writing, mathematics, biology and chemistry. Printed materials and reference materials are accessible to support your academic needs.
Our Math Lab, located in room G103, is staffed by faculty to provide you with individualized assistance.
The Learning Assistance Center provides test proctoring services for online courses both within and outside the KCTCS system, as well as, COMPASS testing and computer literacy (IC3) testing. KCTCS Proctors can be found at http://www.kctcs.edu/distancelearning/proctoring.htm.
