Fall Humanities Courses Offer Enriching Experiences

Need a creative outlet this fall? Many courses offered at Ashland Community and Technical College explore humanity’s cultural and creative expressions.  These elective courses provide a broad view of the human experience, and many may be used to satisfy general education requirements for degrees and diplomas.

Painting I, Painting II, Drawing I, Drawing II Creative Writing: Playwriting, Oral Interpretation of Literature, and Theatre Costuming, Stagecraft, Performance and Production courses will allow people to develop their artistic side.

Intro to Art, Survey of Appalachian Studies I, Intro to Music, Intro to Literature, Intro to Philosophy, Religious Studies and history and literature courses help students develop an understanding and appreciation of human culture.

To take these classes, new students must apply by August 4.  Area residents who would like to take the class for personal enrichment can apply as non-degree seeking students.  Application forms are on the web at ashland.kctcs.edu and can be submitted electronically. For more information, call the admissions office at 606-326-2000.
