Three classes at ACTC in February will focus on taking or editing photographs to display or share on the web. Local portrait and wedding photographer J. Bird Cremeans is experienced in helping beginners get the most out of their cameras and has been using Photoshop for more than 10 years.

A Photoshop class for beginners will be held Mondays, Feb. 25 to April 1 Don't let Photoshop intimidate you! Learn just what you need to know through hands-on training taught. This class is ideal for anyone interested in photography, graphic design, photo restoration, digital scrapbooking, and more. The fee is $75.
Intro to Photography will be held Tuesdays, Feb. 26 to April 2, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. People who want to do more than point and shoot will learn how to use the manual settings on their SLR or digital cameras. Participants will get one-on-one instruction, detailed notes, and fun homework assignments designed to them to use all the features on their cameras. The fee is $69 plus any film processing costs.
Intro to Photography Part 2 will be held Wednesdays, Feb. 27 to April 3 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. The class is designed for people who have completed an Intro to Photography class or who have learned how to operate their cameras in manual mode. Participants will learn to take more interesting photos, develop a more creative eye, set up a home studio and pose individuals and groups in the studio setting. The fee is $75 plus any film processing costs.
