“ABC’s of Grants—A Workshop for Teachers” on Monday, Dec. 10, gives an overview of grants that can help with classroom projects. The workshop will cover where to look for grants, basics of writing a competitive proposal, ways to document a grant project, and using grants to acquire equipment and curriculum items.

“The Hunt for Big Grants” on Tuesday, Dec. 11, will help organizations seek large grants to meet their needs. Participants will learn where and how to navigate free grants resources on the Internet and stay updated on new grant announcements.

“Write Strong/Get Grants” on Thursday, Dec. 13, will provide guidelines for preparing a strong grant proposal. Participants will learn to write problem statements, goals and objectives and will have hands-on writing exercises designed to boost the power of even the toughest proposal.
