You may be aware that Ashland Community & Technical College (ACTC) is a part of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. ACTC, formed by the consolidation of Ashland Community College and Ashland Technical College, was created on July 1, 2003. This consolidation effort combined the resources of two colleges. By consolidating management functions, we have improved efficiencies and have placed more resources into student services. By cooperating on classes and programs, we offer you more options for career education and training.
Through the consolidation efforts, we are able to more quickly add programs to meet emerging workforce needs, while retaining programs that meet existing needs. The degree programs now at ACTC will continue to be an integral part of the curriculum. The transfer program will continue to provide a bridge to baccalaureate degrees at four-year colleges and universities. The services you expect from a student-oriented college will continue to support your academic progress.
Please feel free to visit our three campuses in the Ashland area. Our College Drive Campus is in Ashland, the Roberts Drive Campus is in the Summit area, and the Technology Drive Campus is located just off the Industrial Parkway at EastPark.
