Ashland Community & Technical College has an "open door" admission policy mandated by the State Legislature. To be admitted as a student at ACTC, one must submit an application for admission, and may be asked to submit other documents. To be admitted into some technical programs (e.g. Nursing) one needs to satisfy certain admission requirements.
All applicants meeting the appropriate academic requirements and technical standards shall be considered equally for admission to a community college or to any academic program thereof regardless of race, color, religion, sex, marital status, national origin, sexual orientation, age, beliefs, mental or physical disability.
