Enrollment Check Sheet

Listed below is information on attending classes at Ashland Community & Technical College.

  • Complete an application for admission.
  • Take the COMPASS (ACTC's Placement Test). Applicants may submit results of the American College Test (ACT). Applicants who have not taken the ACT must complete the COMPASS placement exam.
  • Submit your Official Transcripts Applicants must submit an official high school transcript (with final grades and date of graduation), or an official copy of GED Scores. Applicants must submit official transcripts from all other colleges, or post-secondary schools attended.
  • Applied for, and finalized, Financial Aid and Scholarships
  • Submitted documentation of Tuition Waiver, Veterans Education Benefits, and/or External Funds… (External funds are monies that will be paid by a third party such as external scholarships, WIA, Workers Compensation, Vocational Rehabilitation, etc).
  • Attended New Student Orientation…
    • Learned about Student Development Programs: Disability Coordinator, Student Support Services
    • Learned about Student Activities
  • Met with an Advisor
  • Registered for Classes / Learned about Withdrawal Procedure
  • Activated KCTCS email account…Remember to check it often!
  • Visited KCTCS “SA Self Service” to learn about on-line student records and services such as financial aid module
  • Paid tuition, set up a payment plan, or confirmed that adequate financial aid is in place before deadline for payment
