WELCOME TO THE ADVISING CENTER

Mission Statement

The mission of the Advising Center at Ashland Community and Technical College is to assist students as they develop educational and/or life plans.  To contribute to the overall success of advising, the Advising Center will provide services, publications, and appropriate referrals in addition to quality academic advising.  Goals of the Advising Center include:

• Provide students with excellent academic advising.
• Provide all advisors with helpful advising resources and information.
• Provide advisors with appropriate, ongoing training.
• Assist students in making an educated choice of major and becoming self-sufficient in determining the requirements of their chosen major/degree.
• Improve advising standards through ongoing evaluation.
