Academic advising at Ashland Community and Technical College is a collaborative activity between advisors and advisees that supports students from their entry into the college through the completion of their educational goals at the college. Grounded in teaching, learning and student development theory, academic advising considers students’ diverse backgrounds, interests and abilities and assists students in formulating educational, career and life goals. Advising is available in person through the Advising Centers on the College Drive Campus and the Technology Drive Campus. Advising Online is a supplement to an in-person meeting. In some instances, if you have been given permission to self-enroll after consultation with your academic advisor, you may be able to use Advising Online to assist you in choosing and enrolling in classes that fit your program plan.
