Finding Aids To Government Documents

The library enters a limited number of government documents into its Voyager on-line public catalog
system. ACTC's document holdings can be checked against these finding aids:

Impact/Access Government Documents Cataloging Service (GDCS)

– A searchable web-based catalog covering document holdings for ACTC, Marshall University, Morehead State University, Shawnee State and Hazard Community College.

KY Virtual Library

– Catalogs & Databases – Document users can search the U.K. Regional Depository Library catalog and check specific document titles against the Mansbach Library depository collection.

Louisiana State University

– Federal Agency Web Sites Directory – Not a catalog to specific documents, but a directory of all U.S. government department, agency, legislative, executive and courts web sites with click-on links. These sites typically feature a "Publications" sub-link.

Monthly Catalog of Government Documents

– Available on-line and in paper at the Mansbach Library. MOCAT lists all documents published each month and provides document call numbers that can be checked against the depository collection.

Document Shelves

– Users may browse the paper documents collection arranged in Superintendent of Documents (SUDOCS) letter/number order. Follow the posted stack signs and shelf labels on the left hand side of the Library study tables.
