Poetry Month

Poetry has been called "a process by which words paint a picture".  However, poetry does a great deal more.  It tells a story, it shares an emotion, it can make you love, hate, cry and laugh.

There are many different types of poetry and the library at ACTC has many authors to choose from.  Check out the "suggested reading" in the this newsletter for some poet/poetry suggestions.  Check back with the newsletter and check your student/employee email for upcoming events in April.

Hoaxes, Scams, and Other Urban Legends

There are plenty of email hoaxes that travel around.  The most of which are those where you will have bad day if you don't send it to everyone you know or win $20 gift certificates from Applebee's.  How can your email be so powerful?  Well...it actually isn't.  Check out the truth before annoying your entire list of email friends with scams and hoaxes.  To check out many different types of email scams, hoaxes and other urban legends, go to Snopeshttp://www.snopes.com
