This course is approved by the Kentucky Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction to provide continuing education for electrical contractors. Topics in the morning session include marketing your business and identifying your “niche” among competition; insurance, liabilities and responsibilities, forms and record keeping. The afternoon session covers finding your breakeven point; managing expenses, payroll and personnel; federal, state and city taxes; Social Security; finding the right employee; employee rights and sexual harassment. Instructor John Davis is an ACTC Business Instructor.
