Phlebotomists collect blood from patients/donors in hospitals, blood banks or clinics for analysis or other purposes. This six-credit course prepares students to be integral members of the health-care team, with attention to standard precautions, record keeping, vital signs and therapeutic communication skills. The eight-week course meets on Monday & Thursday from 5:00 - 9:00PM for 200 total hours. This is a 6 credit hour class and tuition is based on the ACTC Student Tuition Rates. Currently, the cost for the class is $714 (tuition), $20 (Liability Insurance) + cost of book (Approximately $60).
